What Feeds Below has been one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The book is extremely well written; the moment I picked it up, I was pulled into the world.

The Void feels almost like a character on its own. The descriptions of the different layers and the horrors that dwell within them left me on the edge of my seat and unsettled in the best way. I had never read YA horror before, but this book was much darker and creepier than I initially expected in the best way.

I loved Jade and Petra as characters, as well as the friendship and almost familial bond between them. Overall, it was an amazing read with never a dull moment.
